The story
The world of Vaedros

Choices aren't decoration
Every quest ends on a choice. It changes who trusts you, what you carry, and which scenes you'll see later.
Early choices come back
Take a blade for a friend in chapter 10 and the scar still aches at the last camp. Throw away the map in chapter 5 and the castle has one less way in.
Companions remember
Keep a secret from Rowan and he calls it out on the summit. Trust Liora, or don't, and the finale plays out differently.
Failing a quest continues the story
Your hero pays for your scroll.
But the story never stops. Pick up your phone mid-quest and your hero doesn't die, and you don't start over. The road just gets harder.
