One sentence
Lock your phone and your hero sets out on a story-driven quest. The more present you are in life, the stronger your character becomes.
One paragraph
Emberglow turns phone breaks into a story. You pick a quest, put the phone down, and your hero sets out into the world of Vaedros. Come back when the timer ends and the next chapter is waiting. Pick the phone up early and the quest fails. But the story goes on, down a darker path.
Long description
Emberglow turns phone breaks into a story. You pick a quest, put the phone down, and your hero sets out into the world of Vaedros. Come back when the timer ends and the next chapter is waiting. Pick the phone up early and the quest fails. But the story goes on, down a darker path. The story branches on your choices, with real consequences and multiple endings. Every quest is voiced by a narrator. Co-op quests let you go offline with a friend. Both of you have to hold out, or the quest fails for both. You can play your first quests before creating an account. Emberglow is free on iOS and Android, and was built by a solo developer who made it for himself first.

About the founder
I'm Thomas, and I built Emberglow for myself first. My phone was eating hours of my day. I was scrolling through family time, mentally checked out, knowing I was wasting time I'd never get back.
I tried timers, app blockers, digital detox books. Nothing stuck, because they all felt like punishment. So I made the opposite: a game that only moves forward when you put the phone down.
Emberglow is that game. A story, a journey, and a quiet rebellion against autopilot.
